CF locked the original thread due to legal concerns so it would be disrespectful to her to name him in another thread.

Biffo, I checked my PMs and could not click on the thread.

Anyway, I have my answer. Nobody is prepared to name the man who bribed Forsey.

I think in the circumstances, Foesey should be freed.

    Google the following sentence:
A well-known horse trainer and a former town councillor have both appeared in court in relation to corrupt payment allegations totalling €80,000

I wonder if the wife would have been so honest if the Councillor was not doing the dirt

Or would she be off to Brown Thomas?

As the judge commented, she was bravely doing her civic duty. It may be of course, that the burden on her heart was somewhat lighter in the circumstances.

OK, so the other alleged party's name (and this fact is in the public domain) is Michael Ryan.

His name was not mentioned in today's Irish Times.

Anyone know why all this reticence?

Whenever one of his horses won the winners enclosure was treated to a rousing rendition of 'My Dungarvan home by the sea'.

Perhaps the Irish media outlets do not want to scupper any potential future Eurovision success he may enjoy for Ireland.

One of the FG councillors who voted to rezone the land at the centre of the Forsey corruption scandal failed in her bid to become mayor of Tramore last month. Now FG HQ is to discipline two councillors who failed to vote for her.

It's very important, you see, for parties to show that they take a tough line on wrongdoing.
