Default Michael Lowry's Irish Nationwide debts and undeclared land deal

    What's Michael been up to?
Shamed politician Michael Lowry tried to slap me as he refused to answer questions about a secret land deal. We reveal that the TD owes taxpayers more than €300,000 for the deal he failed to declare to the Dail. Mr Lowry (59) was given a €600,000 loan by Irish Nationwide Building Society in 2006 to purchase the land.

    More on Lowry's companies:
GARUDA, the refrigeration company owned by former Fine Gael minister Michael Lowry, saw pre-tax profits fall by a third to €354,046 last year.
The company is very much a family affair, with Mr Lowry and his brother Patrick listed as directors of the firm.

According to accounts just filed directors remuneration increased from €341,727 to €409,657 last year.

There was €45,000listed as being repayable to Mr Lowry in 2009,according to accounts filed with the Companies Registration Office.

And there was also €109,786 due to Abbeygreen Consultants Limited in the year.

Michael and Lorraine Lowry are listed as directors of Abbeygreen. Lorraine is a daughter of Michael.

I wonder if this was the subject of his meet with his pal Hogan (you know, the meet, Baron so vehemently defends as representation of the esteemed TD's constituents).

The journalist should have taken the slap with a grin and sued the scumbag

That land deal wouldn't have been anywhere near the proposed site of the infamous money-laundrette (casino), would it?

It would be so funny if it turns out Lowry had made his neighbours look like right gobshytes while he was whipping them up to demand the government support his 'land-flipping' operation

Say Michael for jobs. The job being a profit for Michael?

Yes. Yes it would. I wonder have the local eejit squad with their 'Yaaahowww Micky!' baseball caps heard the drop of the penny on all this.

Michael must have been pissing himself laughing every time he got home from a local rally for local people.

It is her assertion that he attempted to strike her.

Pretty scandalous behaviour from public representative if correct.

    A resigning matter, imo.
