    Default Short films worth watching.

Lots and lots of very good short films out there, so if you come across one that you think might be of interest to the PW readers, well here is the place to put it .

Here are two, one happy one sad.
p.s. Nick Vujicic (star of second film) is a hero of mine.

Thanks Count, just watched the Superhighways one, a great window on the past.
I suppose from about the 1920's onward mankind will have an ever better moving record, and so maybe a better insight into what the world looked like to those that went before us. I was born in the 1950's when that film was made, hell's bells, some changes, and I knew my grandmother, that is like knowing a lovely woman who would have looked at that film as the future.

Thanks fluffy, that has to make ya smile!! All kids are great and Caine not only has a child's imagination but the innate engendering talent to give form to his imagination, he seems like a great kid, with a great Dad.

I suppose I should re-evaluate my prejudice about LA. I never thought such a thing would happen there.

Nirvan Mullick, the film maker looks like an interesting character. He is behind the 1 Second Film art project....and that IS a short film.

Now it sounds a wee bit corney but it is working, and the proceeds go to the Global fund for women.

    and that cant be bad.

Not only that but your link made me aware of this Vimeo thing. I haven't examined it yet but at first glance it looks like to youtube, what PW is to......well other places. ie quality over quantity.

Take a look at the link to Car Talk I posted in US media. Given your occupation I think you might enjoy it more than most here.

Maybe not a short film in the strict sense. But very funny.

Yoga comes to small town America, Newton, Illinois.
"Yoga day" great idea, but not the success they make it out to be. Nearly as many people watching as participating.
