Councillors in Derry have voted against a Sinn Féin proposal to change the name of the city's airport in honour of the first woman to succuessfully fly across the Atlantic.

Members of the SDLP, DUP and UUP felt that it was not a good time economically for the change which would recall the aviator's historic flight which ended in a field outside the city.
Would it be a good idea?
If not, who should it be named after, Buddy Holly? Lynyrd Skynyrd?
