London based Irish Journalist Brian Whelan who publicised the MoD plans to put a missile launcher on the roof his apartment block has today announced:

Very sad to learn my tenancy is to be terminated and I will be forced to leave my apartment days ahead of the opening ceremony.

He maintains a great blog on his site that fights fascism normally been a fan for a while but read his blog for more info. That video just highlights the poorly thought out plans of the MoD, the lad from the MoD was clueless!

I wont republish anything from his blog as it needs permission but have a read of it, explains things very well...
There is a meeting tonight with Brian speaking....

What does hypersensitivity in showjumping mean exactly? Never heard the term used in horse racing for example. Is it in reference to drug use with horses, or is it to do with a rider/jockey being overly aggressive with a horse?

It can be just a natural phenomenon but it can also hint at cruel training methods that involve using substances to make the animal more sensitive to pain so that it becomes extremely afraid of hitting the fences.

Friends say they were stopped by an army checkpoint in the East End last week.
Nothing in the press about army or Territorials being used.

    Anyone heard anything similar?

O'Connor will give some free advertising to rich uncle Michael.

I wonder had that any impact on the decision

MEATH-based Cian O'Connor was the only Irish rider to make it into the top ten at Gijon's five-star Grand Prix this evening, taking a sixth place on Michael Smurfit's mare 'K Club Lady'.

Brian Whelan who is an irish journalist wrote about the missiles where he is living http://brianwhelan.net/ . He challenged the people who told him he must move out.

In other news, this is ground breaking and long may it continue

I read today that the heat seeking missiles on apartment roofs have been given the go ahead in the courts.

A friend told me she had been stopped by an army checkpoint in the East End. I'm wondering was it really army (army on the streets of London not being normal) or the private security firm. Breakingnews.ie is saying that 3,500 troops are on standby.

All in all, a great opportunity to get people used to seeing the army on the streets.

Judge said that residents' fear of a terrorist attack was not credible.

No need for the missiles then.
