Hogan wants to be paid and pensioned in strong German euros and not devalued punts. that is all.

I'm afraid the referendum is sort of the equivalent of catching your head boy behind the bikeshed with 3 prostitutes and a load of heroin...

    Sorry lads, we've blown it.

FG/Lab have been showing all the signs of appeasement towards German/French trio as it doesn't work that way. Remember Chamberlain who tried to appease Hitler in his bid for peace & ended up as a failure. It also smacks of cowardice as well which can be applied to Kenny/Gimme more.

I'd beg to differ. With the recent job announcements and the support of the ESM, there IS a chance we could have slid out from under this in 4-5 years time, and begun to re-assert our independence, especially since the ECB appears to have been sliding a little on the covert QE front (to say the least). We vote No and default now, we're talking penury instantly for those on social welfare and the state pension, not to mention 3rd world hospitals and services.

I would agree that the No campaign may well have right on its side, but that won't feed the unemployed. Especially as all the FDI starts to walk. And then there's the issue of importing fuel.....

How much are we prepared to pay for our principles??
