    Interesting comments on the SP campaign on the Referendum - faces on posters - they "used the campaign." I passed a poster with a pic of Murphy on it today and I couldn't understand it. The word NO certainly wasn't noticeable. The SP seem to have viewed the campaign as an opportunity to give profile to the anti water charge campaign and to give their prospective Dail/EP candidates a boost. The SP really does need to get a bit more political.

    Simon Harris seems to think the Government are 'overspending' on social welfare and left it at that.

    Shouldn't that be the welfare spend reflects the reality of 436,000 unemployed?

    Good point from Cormac Lucey about how the Denis O'Brien takeover of IN&M is being completely ignored in spite of the promises about media ownership legislation.
    Fergal Keane moves on very quickly to Brian Stanley just as Lucey is getting into his stride on that one
