    Hyper-spin over a complete non-issue.

So now Enda is saying that Ireland can retain up to 50% of the value of asset sales for stimulus. Hmm.

Somebody needs to give Enda a calculator. The original "troika privatisation deal" and programme for government agreement was €2BN but our Government decided to up the State asset giveaway to €5BN so in effect they are contributing an extra 500MN to the troika (based on the up to 50% allowance for job creation) to massage figures somewhere possibly the mini-budget that should have been introduced next month ?

Indo leading tomorrow with a .25% interest rate cut to variable rates by Permanent TSB. Affects 80K mortgages. They have been charging 5.1% which is well above the other banks.
Whelan thinks that all the banks should be charging around 3% for variable. 'Completely dysfunctional bank that has been allowed to fleece its customers"

The government needs a string of positive headlines this month to keep voters onside. Any old tosh will do.

No spoofing Keaveny. We can access EFSF funding until July 2013 and request further funding up until that date.

Getting a bit difficult for the government to claim that we won't need another bailout on one hand but that really we will need access to further funds post 2013 on the other hand.

Also very difficult for them to argue that Ireland would have 0 access to funding if we voted No, as they will have to govern on, in the event of a No vote.

Add that to the 90 million spent on massaging the promissory notes.
