    Maghaberry...No improvement...

Quote..A judge has warned that Northern Ireland's criminal justice system is in danger of crumbling under the weight of cases involving mental health issues.

The judge said there was a continuing lack of appropriate mental health services in Northern Ireland.
He added that "nobody seemed to be doing anything about it".

Mr McElholm said that the man, who is in custody at Maghaberry Prison, has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and that social services and community mental health services should be contacted about the case. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-norther...-west-41304285

No place for an ill man.

Who's the serving prison officer arrested today by police investigating serious organised crime linked to Loyalist paramilitaries i wonder?

Quote.. The 37-year-old woman was arrested in Newtownabbey by the PSNI's Paramilitary Crime Taskforce on Thursday.
She is being questioned at Antrim police station in relation to activities of the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) in north Belfast.

And.... Quote.. The woman was arrested in the Newtownabbey area, on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

She was taken to Antrim Police station for questioning.

The arrest was the latest in a joint operation between the PSNI, HM Revenue and Customs and the National Crime Agency - a concerted effort to clamp down on paramilitary activity. unquote. http://www.itv.com/news/utv/topic/northern-ireland/

Bear in mind wwhen reading this that the image spoken of was painted in the window at Halloween.

Quote.. A 29-year-old man has been charged after a snowman holding a rocket launcher was painted on the window of a republican support group's office in Londonderry.
The image included the message: "Wishing you an Explosive Christmas."
It appeared at the office of the Irish Republican Prisoners Welfare Association in Chamberlain Street.
The man has been charged with two counts of permitting display of anything provocative.
It follows the appearance of the display in October. unquote. Image and story here... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-42285433

Due in court in January, i guess that holds him hostage for a peaceful christmas.
