    What I would really like to see implemented is the idea from SIPO two years ago that politicians should declare the loans that they hold.
    In a lot of cases that would be a hell of a lot more revealing than their income sources and would illuminate their attitude towards the banks and property interests.
    Even people like poor old Brian Cowen with hardly an arse to their trousers had three or four mortgages with AIB.
    Hard to imagine the complexity of the loan books for people like Frank Fahey, Alan Shatter and Ivor Callely.

    Retired Taoisigh do not have constituencies though. They just live somewhere


    I imagine it is more down to a lack of willingness from the Management and Doctors to relocate outside the Capital or commute to a reasonable location
