    Minister for Housing still has no plan in place to reverse re-designation of Approved Housing Bodies – Ó Broin

    Redesignation of all of Ireland's Housing Associations as State will have major budgetary implications and also threatens funding of 25% of future social housing building currently in the pipeline. Government was depending on the AHBs to deliver housing "off budget".

    IRAN

    Ayatollah Khameini's speech on US withdrawal from the JCPOA treaty. He says Iran fulfilled all its obligations under the treaty and now Trump has walked - and he does not trust/rely on the three European countries - UK, France and Germany - who say they want to continue with it.

    Emma Ni Mhathuana spoke on RTE 1 Morning Ireland this morning, crying because she is dying from cervical cancer, unneccessarily, after having had results withheld by the HSE for three years. "I don't even know if my baby will remember me". She has six children, and is being cheated of her life.

    The Daily Express front page is on the "threat" to "drag retired British soldiers through the Courts" in the proposed new investigations commission into the "Troubles" in Ireland.




    The Independent leads with the half million long waiting list for hospital appointments. How much of that could be dealt with by the missing link local medical centres ?




    The Irish Times leads with the suppression of internet ad campaigns on Repeal of the 8th Amendment.



    Also on cervical cancer - the tests ordered by the HSE do not include HPV testing, and a combined test is best practice.
