I wonder if, in the interests of consistency, she would support paying CB to people without children who are in negative equity.

Or if she has children and is in negative equity

The Indo has a shock horror headline over a piece on child benefit inspections - "Middle-class families get visits from child-benefit inspectors"

The actual article makes a more measured claim - "The checks are completely random and will hit families regardless of class"

Are FG going to legalise prostitution?

Organisations working with prostitutes, international and domestic experts, and groups representing sex workers will gather today to help shape a blueprint on future prostitution laws in the country.

The day-long conference follows a discussion document drawn up by the Department of Justice which sets a range of options — from full criminalisation of all prostitution to legalisation of the adult sex trade.

No, they'll go for the Irish solution. A mixture of banning and legalising. It will be referred to as the Prohilegalibanpermissioning of Prostitution in Ireland.

It may contain the word 'Imprescryptable'.

Reilly is announcing another 'agreement', this time with the pharmaceutical companies.

    http://www.independent.ie/national-n...t-3259341.html

Whether it's a real agreement or a repeat of the 'deal' he claimed he had with the hospital consultants remains to be seen.
