And the sentence would be ... I wonder?

That is a hell of a way to 'cry for help'. Sounds to me like the old 1970's excuse 'I kicked the head off yer man, yer honour, because I was blind drunk at the time'.

Grand,so. Anyone like to forecast what sanctions Nikita, 25, will face for her 'cry for help' involving making false accusations of rape?
Think National. Act Local. Oh- and superstition is just the dark matter of human history.

Having a neck like a jockey's apparatus isn't a trait that's confined to Ireland. The 'artist' who ruined a painting in a Spanish church is looking for royalties from the admission fees the church charges to see the destruction.

Cork City Council has moved disabled parking bays away from the entrance to City Hall to facilitate a cycle lane.

Great letter in the IT today.

"Sir, – The Minister for Public Expenditure has in his wisdom decided to remove the underwear allowance for new female recruits to the Defence Forces (Home News, September 19th). Does this mean that in future they will have to “go commando”? – Yours, etc,"

TDs are to meet with insurance companies to talk about flood cover.

    http://www.breakingnews.ie/ireland/t...es-568151.html

More populist nonsense. Insurance companies cover risk not certainty. They'd go broke if they offered to cover losses from predictable damage in flood prone areas.
