the danger of the Central Bank reports is that idiot politicians and commentators (Jim Power) selectively pick what they like from them

The report in 2007 above had a lot of warnings but it was easy to read the "soft landing" and use that as a basis for policy/advice

What the markets have done, are doing or will do in the future depends entirely on who you talk to.

Economics is not a science, it's a religion and as such all opinions are equally valid. From time to time the pronouncements of individual economists may accord with objective fact but that's just coincidence.
