At least with Lisbon they had the 'decency' of waiting a year before foisting it on us again...this just reeks of contempt for the electorate from Kenny and his sideshow of clowns. And why wouldn't they be contemptuous when they keep getting re-elected and ride high in the opinion polls despite their lies.

That is, by a considerable margin, the most sensible proposal ever posted here.

If the government was serious about political reform then the next referendum it sponsors would be to amend article 46 to that effect.

It's the tax on pensions that's going to cause the big reaction. It's becoming clear that no stone will be unturned to wring the liquidity out of us, apart from the ones covering the government and top civil servants and crony class.
