Martin Donnellan is on #marian. Wonder if Marian will ask why his security company is involved in the Stobart Ireland strike and how much he is being paid?

Much hilarity over Denis O'Brien 'bellyaching' over losing 400 million on Indo shares. Shane Ross doesn't seem too cut up about it

Paul Williams and Donnellan spoofing that there's no phone hacking in Ireland

The screechy pitch Finucane adopts to make a point/feign sincerity is especially grating today! (Day 26 off the fags )

Actually that's Michael McNiffe. Sounds exactly like Paul Williams
Apparently they are both from Leitrim.
Not that there anything really wrong with that in itself

Four months ago Michael D was too old. Now he's too enthusiastic for them

The lack of any kind of balance on the panel is incredible. Dan O'Brien, Dick Roche, Hugo O'Neil, Alison O'Connor and some lawyer who obviously seriously dislikes MDH.
At some stage Marion giggled and said that it was just as well the Referendum Commission hadn't been set up yet or she would have to throw two and a half of them out of the studio.

My inner cynic is muttering in my ear that the government wont be too unhappy if a period of weeks passes before the formal announcement of the campaign during which "the issues" can be illuminated without the inconvenience of having to air contrary opinions.

Given the make up of the yes camp I wouldn't worry too much

    Speaking of Marian:
Marian Finucane, one of our best-paid broadcasters, last week resigned as a director of the firm through which she billed RTE for more than €500,000 in 2009.

Ms Finucane stepped down as a director of Montrose Services Ltd, company documents lodged last week show.
Curious. I wonder what kind of alternative arrangement she has set up?
