********ed up is the word alright.

This account on Youtube is the Chrysi Avgi channel, full of videos with various of their "leaders" spouting the usual fascist and racist crap.
WordPress took them down 2 years ago, there is now an effort to get google to do the same. Anybody with a YouTube account can flag their videos and the account as contravening the community rules, especially the hate speech rule.
The more complaints, to sooner it will be gone...
And of course, anybody who knows somebody in Google Irl can really help shut these guys up.

What's good for the goose is not necessarily good for the gander...

This extremely sad story starts 2 weeks ago when a 15 year old local girl went missing on the Nea Chrysi Akti beach on the island of Paros, a very popular tourist destination. The girl was eventually found in the evening, by her mother. The child had been badly beaten, raped and left for dead at the bottom of the cliffs. She is, as we speak, still in a coma in hospital.
Yesterday, an illegal immigrant from Pakistani origin was arrested and charged after being identified from 2 different DNA samples found on the girl's body. He has confessed and is in custody.

Chrysi Avgi immediately put out this statement

Enough with illegal immigrants! The horrible crime against a minor Greek was committed again by an illegal immigrant. The need for multiple deterrence measures is immediate. Any crime committed by an illegal alien must be statutory. Whoever talks about racism, should host the criminals at his home. The only racism that exists, is the racism against the Greeks
Gangs on motorbikes started roaming the streets of Athens and Thessaloniki, and the police ended up rounding up over 1500 immigrants, officially for fear of a mass slaughter.

Meanwhile, another recent incident is being kept very quiet

A 45 year old public worker, who is a registered member of the Golden Dawn party, is being charged with the rape of a minor in Norteastern Attica.
The minor, a 15 year old Albanian national, who is a student at a local school, was attacked by the 45 year old and following the rape, became pregnant with her attacker's child.

What was the Chrysi Avgi reaction? 2 goons were sent down to the girl and her family to try and intimidate them into withdrawing the charges. They haven't and are now in hiding.

And they are getting to set an agenda?

What do you think is the answer, in terms of response to C. A. ?

I really don't know what the official response to Chrysi Avgi is going to be. Probably nothing, they have bigger problems to deal with, or so they think. As far as authority is concerned, this is a girl who had an unfortunate experience. Then there are of course also the voices claiming she went "looking for it".
Honey Coloured Skin + Lime Green Bikini + Raven Black Long Hair = Fair Game
    that kind of mentality.
As for the Albanian girl, well, she is
    only filth
    dixit CA, so who cares?

I don't know how far they will have to go before it is considered too far, just hope it's not much further than this. To me, this is already miles too far, but then, that's just me. I've already been told it's an emotive reaction because I have 9 daughters.

I have always suspected that Chrysi Avgi is the militant wing of Nea Democratia, and a blind eye is turned to their antics because it suits the neo-liberal agenda that Samaras has. They keep the plebs occupied and the opposition focused on CA instead of the politics of ND. And given the recent statements by both Venizelos and Kouvelis
I don't agree, but what can I do?
, it's obvious that Samaras has at least Venizelos in the back pocket. Even without Kouvelis he still has a majority, but without Venizelos he loses that.

I think CA are going to be allowed to keep on causing havoc, with the silent agreement of both police and military. It has not gone unnoticed that before the June 17th elections the real international onslaught on SYRIZA started after Tsipras met with both the chiefs of police and the military and told them there would be a major clean-up and cleanout. I am getting more and more convinced that both ND and CA get their funding and support from Berlin.

As a direct result of this, the Greek police has raided the poorer areas of Athnes and detained 4,900 immigrants. They have arrested over 1,000 of them, and over 200 Pakistani illegal immigrants have already been shipped back home.
As there is nowhere for the detained people to go, the police have now come up with the bright idea of transporting them all to Komotini, where they will be "housed" in the police cadet training school. The fact that the school is built to accommodate a maximum of 200 people is apparently not a problem???
The Pogroms have started. Next they will be made wear green stars to identify them as "Pakistani".
The culprit of this horrendous crime had fled to Athens and was hiding in the area on which the police swooped. He was handed over to the police by fellow Pakistanis.

Do you really want me to answer that?
this is what happens when a mob of fascists start baying for blood and spineless authorities cave in. It is, of course, for their own good...

I think it is wrong for people in Greece not to be bothered by illegal immigrants raping their citizens.

Why mention the age of the victim; is raping an older woman any less wicked?
I think rape is wrong regardless of the victim's age and I do not believe it is right to avoid criticizing the perpetrator for fear of being considered prejudiced against illegal immigrants.

Nobody is avoiding critizing the perpetrator. In fact, the guy was handed over by the Pakistani community in Athens, who are thouroughly disgusted by what he did. Not only for what he did, but rightfully so for the injustice now being heaped upon them.
Just as the age of a victim does indeed not matter, neither does the race, nationality, religion of civil status of the perpetrator matter. It is however the FIRST thing mentioned in news headlines etc. "PAKISTANI ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT rapes GREEK girl".
The editor who approved that headline knew very well that this would unleash a wave of rascist biggotery against so far 4,900 people who are totally innocent in this, but are being victimized not because of the crime, but because of the totally irrational, illogical and wrong conclusions drawn by certain unsavoury individuals in the Greek community.
What does matter is the obvious double standards with which these cases are approached. the Greek girls is rightfully so described as "the victim", the Albanian girl is described as "filth". That kind of prejudice should indeed not be feared, it should be exposed for what it is, time and time again. It should however never be condoned or defended, in any shape or form.

    There is maybe some hope...

German Neo Nazis had planned a march through Bad Nenndorf last Saturday.
Around 700 people from the area gathered to show their opposition to the march, while more than 200 left-wing activists chained themselves to the station platform, delaying the arrival of the neo-Nazis’ train by more than an hour.
The bus drivers were less than cooperative, forcing many of the neo-Nazis to walk into town. Their rally was several hours late and accompanied by loud protests nearby.
Bad Nenndorf in Lower Saxony has been the focus of neo-Nazi marches every year since 2006, because it was where the British army set up an interrogation centre for Nazis after the war.
Jürgen Trittin, head of the Greens’ parliamentary party, spoke at an anti-Nazi rally there on Saturday, and said the protests were trying to make victims out of the perpetrators, which he called a “grandiose falsification of history.”
Sebastian Edathy of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) said, “We are neither ready to hand over our streets and our squares, nor the hearts and minds of the coming generation, to these enemies of humanity.”
He said far-right extremism was a reality in Germany but should never be accepted as normal.
At least 2,000 police officers were in the town, while a surveillance drone flew over the more than 450 neo-Nazis. Last year around 580 showed up while in 2010 the number was more than 1,000.
The neo-Nazis had planned to go to Hannover, around 35 kilometres away, after their march in Bad Nenndorf – but cancelled this themselves, a police spokeswoman said. They are now planning a torch-lit march through Hannover at a later date.
Several hundred left-wing demonstrators gathered in Hannover in anticipation of the planned neo-Nazi march, and some clashed with the police. Around 50 people were briefly held, but no arrests were reported.
