Real class would be a shirt with 'Gilmore for Taoiseach' on the front and 'Labours Way or Frankfurts Way" on the back.
I'd actually pay hard cash money for that

You knew Fianna Fáil were finished forever when the country's top banker was perceived more honest.

John Moloney's comment that a politician wouldn't survive the Irish media if he was hungover is more than a little daft when one considers that the last cabinet had four drunks.

Moral of this documentary is 99% of every politician and journalist you hear on radio are & will always be complete spoofers.
Only good you can take is the hope you will also have forgotten about the existence of Colm Keaveney & Paschal Donohoe in five years

Lenihan - "I've had no time to organise a coup"

What he left out was - I was too busy setting up NAMA to protect the Developers from bankruptcy
"The land Coillte Teo is now selling for development was given to them by the State in 1988 to ensure that our woodlands were run commercially, not to enable them to sell the family silver to service bank loans".

What he left out was what McGuinness supplied - The fact that it was a bare-faced lie.

To be fair to Moloney he is, in my experience, a decent man on a personal level. He's also more intelligent than the harmless hick persona he affects would suggest.

Given a choice I'd have preferred to see him survive the cull here rather than Fleming.

Hanafin thinks a failed Cabinet reshuffle is a bigger mistake than an unlimited Bank Guarantee

I know. I'm just saying that if we had to have one FF TD in Laois I'd have preferred it be Moloney than Fleming.

Geesh deluded was she ? In her eyes, Cabinet re-shuffle takes more priority than fixing our biggest mistake in banking guarantee.

It's everyone for themselves when it comes to politics. Politics is about serving the public interest not the other way round.
