This is a petition calling for the closure of Anglo and no further extention of the existing banking guarantee after September 2010.

There are people out there trying to do something and I think we should support them.

I dread to think how this era of Irish politics will be versed in our History.

Interested to see there was no response to this. Is it because people don't agree, are unsure, or think that petitions won't change anything ?

Surely you would want to open a petition to close anglo and not close the petition?

Digout I should have put a hyphon after Anglo in the title sorry.

I think the post itself clarifies what the petition is for.

I will be sending this to every member of the Dail and Seanad, let's find out how the opposition really feel.

I will be very interested to see if Ned O' Keefe signs.

Ned O Keefe is a windbag. He was only on the radio today because Mattie McGrath is on holidays. Its the age old FF trick of pretending to be in opposition while being in government.

FG are on holidays, shows exactly whats going on here.

No opposition, no future.

The time for petitions or appealing or lobbying with this government is over. I will do my talking on the door step next election. They will not listen or look at this. What the electorate thing is not relevant to what will happen b4 an election.

Will be too late by then, we will be well down the toilet by 2012.

But Xray don't you think the more we throw at them the better. Surely challenging the actions of this government is much better than rolling over and accepting their hypocrisy.

How much damage will they have done by the time the next election comes around?

Furthermore can we afford to wait and find out ?
