A lunar eclipse is due to occur commencing approx 9.50pm tmro night 15th June. The next one is not due for four years

Sounds like a pretty unique event
At around 10pm stargazers are expected to see the extremely rare sight of a coppery moon high in the sky as the sun is setting.
And the International Space Station will go across the sky (appearing near to the moon) at approx 10.11pm

Outside looking .... other than beautiful sunset nothing to report yet

Was beginning to think we'd been had ... cloud free skies here. Must have risen in total darkness cos at 10.15pm could just make out a tiny part of the moon with a reddish/orange tinge ... looking at it now.. still the same colour with more appearing as the minutes go by
Other than that beautiful dusk; Mr & Mrs Blackbird busy singing, Bats flying overhead in the gathering darkness getting some grub in
And in the distance is the drone of the silage fiends :mad:
No sign of the International Space Station ... must be in the garage for repairs
