. twitter: @Eireannachrev , @Purfield FB: EireannachRevolution Anoisledothoil , Andy Purf and the event is on FB as Protest at the spire. Ok so here's the deal. I thought it was very important to start organizing demos and the like after being at last Saturdays excellent irish spanish solidarity protest at the spire.http://defaultnowwithnewpuntandstopdelayingtherevolution. wordpress.com/wp-admin/ Now there are a no. of things I have to say which I hope I will get to before the internet gets switched off by family members. We need mass protests everywhere, even small scattered well interlinked ones. I've received great feedback so far.https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=226001514076751&ref=ts is the link to the protest. I have 24 confirmed attendees after 1 day and the Fb page has 82 members after 24 hours. The twitter page has about 20-30 followers so far and is used infrequently for media purposes.

Now the Protest is on at the spire from 1-4 next Friday. I've also been asked by 2 people to camp on o'connell st(if i did do so Id suggst the gpo) and cass flower, site admin has said that chopra of the imf is in town again this week so if hes in the merrion or DOF on Friday evening I will ask people to camp with me there and then. I am willing to donate 500 EUR to the cause of protest, and Robin Wilson who is an economics graduate and qualified business manager with very open and radical views will be on Monday's Frontline and he will also be attending the protest next Friday, possibly with information on his new party Autonomy Ireland which has some left leaning policies but is too early to say whether its left or right at this stage as it's mostly a pro sovereignty-independent monetary policy group. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001845013080&ref=ts is his party's FB page. He ran in the recent election in Louth/coastal meath, getting 750 votes and I voted for him as I found him to be the only acceptable candidate who i agreed with stuff on.

Now I would ask people to consider strongly what action they feel like taking. I have tests all week and I felt the last protest I attended was very rushed. people need time to spread the word at first. I condone any action necessary by peaceful but very forceful means. If that means flag burning outside the Eu or US embassy, that is up for others to decide, although i'd remind people that institutions and govts should not provide for reason to racially discriminate and you will be accused by journalists of doing so so be prepared for flak from meaningless writers . I hope some of this info is helpful and I hope I see you next Friday at 1pm at the Spire in Dublin.

My political beliefs are in pro self governance through participatory democracy and democratic socialism/communism, but you don't need to agree with my politics entirely to protest for a referendum on the diktat, social justice etc. If a group of willing activists is somehow formed and does eventually gather momentum like the Spanish And Italian revolutions, the aim in my view should be at least participatory democracy and new retrospective laws to lock up or deport traitors. Other means of justice I'd condone probably aren't worth arguing for at this stage in time. I am prepared to argue my case for socialism in future, though right now I am a member of no party although I would vote for the ULA, Eirigi and Autonomy ireland if they all ran locally in a few years. My blog post doesn't stress the need for a socialist revolution because I wanted to show that the most important things are solving everyday issues and then us socialists can fight our corner. If you are a neo liberal I would ask you not to attend though as I do not wish to protest alongside any member of FG or FF. Ex voters/members of either party who have seen the light are welcome. But these two parties have destroyed our state. Labour can be criticized heavily but many of its members at least have a conscience, as do some of the newer Labour TDs who i expect to vote against govt bills very soon and the next budget. SF members are of course welcome unless they're gerry adams or mary lou mcdonald who I would ask to please not attend as I find them to be fence sitters, hypocrties and unworthy of comeradeship in any democratic form. Particularly Gerry who i never seriously considered voting for due to his horrible past. Keynesians, ie people of the soft left in SF and Labour are more than welcome.

But most importantly, ordianry people with no political views except to have a good quality of life and a decent society and those of us from young to old effected by austerity are most welcome. Sorry if I seem picky but I make a habit of not protesting with killers, and worse, murderous traitors. Oh yeah and I am a 2nd year business and languages student in DIT and a writer for the Meath Chronicle.

In terms of climate, the Icelanders have the most experience we can learn from. Tahrir was 20 degrees plus.

Yes we camp :)

Give Jim Corr a shout, I'm sure he'd get involved where he can, seems like a decent bloke with genuine interest in making life better for us all, not like the other shower.

apjp - when you have a time and date for your event, I'll put the blog up.

I would strongly suggest that you start by asking people to join the Spanish event, which will be advertised via Face Book.

well i do have a date and time already with the fb event page. when is the spanish event?

How long until we see more and more of this?

In a frightening example of how the state is tightening its grip around the free Internet, it has emerged that You Tube is complying with thousands of requests from governments to censor and remove videos that show protests and other examples of citizens simply asserting their rights, while also deleting search terms by government mandate.

The latest example is You Tube’s compliance with a request from the British government to censor footage of the British Constitution Group’s Lawful Rebellion protest, during which they attempted to civilly arrest Judge Michael Peake at Birkenhead county court.

Peake was ruling on a case involving Roger Hayes, former member of UKIP, who has refused to pay council tax, both as a protest against the government’s treasonous activities in sacrificing Britain to globalist interests and as a result of Hayes clearly proving that council tax is illegal.

Hayes has embarked on an effort to legally prove that the enforced collection of council tax by government is unlawful because no contract has been agreed between the individual and the state. His argument is based on the sound legal principle that just like the council, Hayes can represent himself as a third party in court and that “Roger Hayes” is a corporation and must be treated as one in the eyes of the law.

The British government doesn’t want this kind of information going viral in the public domain because it is scared stiff of a repeat of the infamous poll tax riots of 1990, a massive tax revolt in the UK that forced the Thatcher government to scrap the poll tax altogether because of mass civil disobedience and refusal to pay.

When viewers in the UK attempt to watch videos of the protest, they are met with the message, “This content is not available in your country due to a government removal request.”

Now would be the time to do it, with Obama on the way - but if that were done the government would have the Gardai come down like a ton of bricks.
Imagine hundreds of people camping on Stephens Green? Jesus, they would send in the riot squads PDQ to avoid any embarrasment.

However, I have found we Irish to have such a slave mentality that this type of protest wont happen here

haha. http://defaultnowwithnewpuntandstopdelayingtherevolution. wordpress.com/ new blog on europeanrevolution+need to import it asap. As my easily accessible sources from twitter show the revolution is now in Italy, small pockets of France, as well as Holland and Spain. I think we should rename this the european revolutionary thread. Whatever people's views on socialism, I think most of us at least want a participative democracy. Im going to post all of this on other internet fora also. I would really appreciate a retweet and re FB cass, and you don't have to put it as a blog post obv as its 350 words over the limit

Hi all. can someone please start a thread on the other parish for me as re. the aforementioned as I have no way of doing so due to a weird rule that means i need 100 posts first and im only on 65 with too little time to ***** threads for the sake of it. Anti, I know ye are over there? Please add Twitter @EireannachRev @Purfield FB EireannachRevolution Anoisledothoil and Andy Purf as well as 'Protest at the Spire' The protest is on next Friday at the spire from 1-4pm and anyone seeking to come please bring whatever you can contribute by way of placards, banners, music, megaphones etc..ive 20 confirmed attendees so far and the FB page has 60 friends in just 19 hours.

Thanks.

the other parish is unbelievable. if they've over 300 people online at any one time i wonder why no one has replied to my message in the last 5 hours or so? its on the equivalent to this thread. Somehow I am starting to doubt the '400' people online figures over there, particularly given the one side choice of topics atm including how we should go back to uk and how we need corpo tax at all costs! twitter feedback has been slow-ive 21 followers which is ok. FB feedback been very good. 57 friends in 18 hours and 21 people say they'll attend the protest. I think its cos Twitter is smaller in Ireland..

Correct. FB is the biggest network by far. But twitter has some very interesting and useful tweeters.

was asked by spunout.ie today to send them articles. they have 16'000 members so ill enjoy that. they got half a million hits last year. Update: FB group has 102 members after 36 hours, Twitter group has 29 followers after 24 hours, FB event page has 28 confirmed attendees and the other parish's total reply to date has been to slag me as a 'cappuchino sipping snobbish leftie who chooses who is worthy of my glorious company' due to the fact I dont march with traitors, killers, collaborators, and Beggs or O'connor. Also being slagged for upgrading my phone: 'a real piece of proletarian kit there andy' and have received some stick from classmates for protesting as it seems comical to those without the need to do so. Ive received mostly though a hugely positive response. we know from the pharmacy union studies and the cred. union studies that 1 in 3 or 4 irish people are impoverished and i doubt every middle class person is an Ian o doherty type who slates those who oppose marching with adams, mcdonald, ff, fg et al. I know the other place has much more members than here and some lefties too as well as ordinary folk like the ballyhea lad DOF who just want real democracy and a fair society. Its them Im waiting on a reply from tbh. as one guy said to me, the aim of the march is good. dont emphasise belief based rhetoric but connect with people on their daily problems. that was what i tried to do with the blog post etc
