View Full Version : Ipsos/Mrbi Poll shows FF continue to fall, FG rise, & Lab stabilise

According to FFionnán Sheahan of the Indo, their opinion poll which is due to be published in tomorrows edition, the figures are as follows:

FG- 39%, +1%
FF- 14%, -2%
Lab- 20%, unchanged
SF- 11%, -1%
Inds/Oth/ULA- 16%, +2%
Greens- who cares?

This will terrify FF going into polling day, and should signal the end of FG's dream of single party government. Yes, they're slightly up, but they need to be well over 40% for there to be a chance of that, and Labour have halted the slide- their campaign has taken a conscience step towards frightening voters out of voting for a one-party violently neoliberal FG govt.

No wonder the election was brought foward. The "Independents" would have been the second biggest party given another month of campaigning.
