FF minister Ryan is in studio, the same minister Ryan who blamed the crisis on David McWilliams. The same Ryan who sits at cabinet with the minister for finance who caused the problems.

This clown has no idea. Is this the best FF can send on?
Just as well they were asleep or god knows what would have been done, they probably would have put a windmill on the roof of anglo.
I am very confident my 8 year old niece would easily win a debate with Eamo. I will even let him choose the subject.

Sweet jesus this Ryan lad is as useful as a chocolate teapot.
tier two bond holder take hit = they get equity = they get deeds to property in Ireland = someone from abroad starts calling the shots on this cabal of BS. That is why they are not hit. They would take the car off a developers wife and the watch off his hand if the loan passed to them. If you hid abroad from it, they would find you.

In fairness if you were Ryan what else can you say? I mean joining that coaition at that stage was the equivalent of joining the cast of Butch Cassidy just before the last scene

Still in fairness at least you couldn't confuse him with a crash test dummy- unlike Cuffe.
Although his waffling might have done more damage.
What exactly do the union leaders draw a wage for it they are not on TV tonight?

Browne has really flourished on TV3.
It takes a special kind of stupidity to kill off one of your best shows for no reason at all but that's RTE for you.

Well the Unions' dissent was silenced in the nick of time wasn't it? Before the people could unite in opposition to the NAMA treachery. They're so distracted sniffing the rancid bone they been thrown by the same shower that fecked them unceremoniously out of Kildare Street only 3 months ago. Their naiveté is staggering really if they think anything promised in the last few days will be honoured. I despair.

Well they have promised to get rid of about 20 thousand more of us, freeze out basic pay for another 4 years and ban overtime and relocate us when the close half the hospitals in the country. I trust them to deliver that.
Its a bit late now to get doey eyed about uniting behind a union social solidarity campaign, people were frothing at the mouth for the government to throw the PS to the lions once the sindo and rte gave the thumbs down. Its hard to lead a campaign when you have knifes in your back.

We are all being screwed by FF and don't they just love this Public/Private divide. P.ie pisses me off no end with the anti Public Service vitriol and Eddie Hobbs has a lot to do with it to also IMHO. We are all citizens and we are all being equally betrayed.

The age old FF tactic of divide and conquer, worked a treat seeing as RTE do all their bidding.

Don't forget, there has already been a huge Libel Action regarding Paddy Kavanagh's The Green Fool (http://www.booksoldandnew.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=1)
Bloody great read, but not to be confused with "The Constant Smirk" Ryan.
That Union man sounded just like we used to, back in the day (70's).
Correct analysis.

+ 1
Eamo is on Newstalk trying to justify FF's actions
Says there was "fraudulent lending" at Anglo.
Says the Regulator failed and the Central bank failed.
Not because he knows any of this of course, but because someone told him this is the case.
For Eamo to come from what they themselves term a "democratic party", surely he can see that they have gone against Democracy itself in voting for the Irish People to pay for the fraudulent activities of others.
We have people losing their homes, jobs, way of life even, to pay for this.
Where is the democracy? Where is the justice?
No government should have the authority to wield such a harsh sentence on the truly innocent people of this nation.
