I heard him say this on Saturday, but was still in recovery from the Cuffe interview and let it slide past me.

Is this the equivalent of "give me your pocket money or the kitten gets it".

This was dealt with excoriatingly on Irisheconomy.ie - where comment is I think at the other extreme of denial that wanting to keep the Eurozone intact is not necessarily the same as being able to.

This really does shine a light on Eamon Ryans economic ability.

Is this why we have to ask the EU if we can continue to keep Anglo going? Does Mr Ryan realise the EU may well tell us to begin an orderly wind down of Anglo? Does he even realise that the EU have yet to make that decision.

If this is the type of economic thinking amongst all our leaders, we are well and truly finished.
