Sindo - off-splash - Feverish intrigue to topple Cowen. - excited innuendo to replace him?

Sindo says it has exclusive interview with Ivor Callely Cracked this one before but I wonder is this the same Ivor Callely who spoke to ST?

Trib: Callely faces arrest in garda expenses investigation........................if he refuses to cooperate.

Never mind *statements*: Ivor Callely talks to just two papers, the Sunday Times and the Sindo. Proper order

BPost: Revealed: HSE wastes millions on agency staff. - same story in ST and comes from audits released through FOI.

the hse is letting nurses go on leave, then rehiring them only through an agency at an extra cost of 36%. You could not make this up.

I wonder if Cowen has cancelled his trip to China in September because he suspects that there could be a coup while he's gone?;)

Best news in the Sindo? 2-pack courgettes at Aldi just 59c, Kelloggs Frosties €2 at SuperValu and Meal Deals at Tesco for a tenner

Harvey Norman must be cheesed off. He tells the Sindo Ireland's retail sector faces a bloodbath and makes p6. Clery's got page 1 last week.

Thanks very much again to Richie and Frank.

The Sindo also reports Consumers are facing a 10% rise in food prices:-

"A stream of major US household-food brands are all announcing price rises on products including cereals, cheese and meat," Trinity College economist Constantin Gurdgiev said.

"So as a result we can certainly expect the same to happen in Europe and in Ireland. If things continue, there will be double-digit price increases at the till. All we can say with any confidence is prices are going up and it's going to be long-term," he added.

Would this "agency" have any links to FF?

Now there's another potential can of worms ... I wonder what connections an agency supplying staff to the HSE might have to have in order to get on the aproved suppliers list for the HSE?

I'm not linked up with the articles on this .. does anyone have a link to the name of the agency or agencies involved? Wouldn't mind taking a look at the list of directors of those companies...

I've not bought a paper in years, but today for some reason I picked up the SBP.

And now I remember why I stopped buying them.

Mealy-mouthed servile drivel and FF propaganda all the way through.
