I'd love to hear her on DriveTime. Wilson's interview style is to prevent the interviewee completing an answer and O'Reilly's style is never let the interviewer complete a question. Talk about irresistible force and immovable object. :)

I thought the interview was remarkable. It exposed a cynical political move to block discussion of the Lost at Sea report by the Oireachtas. The 'report' of one paragraph and dozens of appendices given in response is a stunning exercise in contempt for the office of Ombudsman.

This really is the issue that should be dominating the Headlines. The whole Lost at Sea saga has raised some Huge Concerns as to the workings of our Elected Institutions. They are quick to close ranks around one of their own as soon as the Heat is applied. They moved to shut down all debate on this issue, suppressing the report and using the hated Whip system to ensure that all Govt TD's do what they are told.

Instead, we have the whole Storm in a teacup surrounding Mary Harney. Theres no way in hell of course that Harney will resign or lose her job. A nice little distraction, put it all on someone who's out of the country. Too convenient.

Our media should be doing a better job here. This has exposed a massive Democratic deficit.

This thread on her speech about this earlier this week is here - it is well worth reading.
