Wasn't watching it, but I just heard the news. Well done the lad Graeme!

Great performance by Graeme! Els must be kicking himself.

McDowell appeared unbelievably calm and composed right to the end, particularly with the extra pressure of leading the final round of a Major and the conditions were far from ideal for an easy back nine.
Excellent result putting him well in contention for a Ryder Cup spot/captains pick. May well have 3 Irishmen on the team in October again this time - Harrington, McIlroy & McDowell

Well i am delightened for Mc Dowell as he earned it by playing superb golf and plenty of composure as well to steady his nerves.
A possible future successor to Harrington not Mc Ilroy. The problem with Mc Ilroy was that he was very gung ho without thinking the consequences of his shots.

Have heard of this guy for a couple of years as he was struggling to make into the ranks. He worked hard on his short game this year, which was his main weakness.
He is a better bet than Mc Ilroy. I saw pictures of him in a bar in Phuket when he visited there on a holiday break from golf.
