I see that the Corkman and the Kerryman have started charging for 'premium content' since the 22nd of March. Clicking on a few links it looks like premium content includes more or less anything that I might be interested in.
Charges include 3,50 for 'a ten article bundle' and 18.99 for a 'three month subscription'.
Have any other locals started this?
My local doesn't. Make up your own mind if you think they could get away with charging.

Have a look for Squinter in Columnists, always funny.
Letters page can be good and they have a text page for some of the local one liner wags.
It is completely SF editorial though.

Mine doesn't - yet. I'm wondering if anyone is paying for the IT - around 350 euro a year ?

If newspapers start to research stories properly and print the facts and the truth I'll start buying them regularly. Until then the only use I have for them is to line the cat box on the way to the vet.
