Figures released today show that the amount of people travelling to and from Ireland continues to decline rapidly.
Trips to Ireland are down 24%
Trips from Ireland are down 5.6%
The biggest drop in visitors is from the UK and Europe.
Year to date for trips to Ireland is down nearly 30% from its peak.
Year to date for trips from Ireland are down nearly 20% from its peak.
Just as well we didn't go mad building hotels in the past few years and having to support them with taxpayers money...

PS - I suspect the figures for April may be a bit on the low side as well.
