Kenny appeared to be promoting this group. I wonder if it was publicly funded, as one of the many initiatives emanating from the various Think Tanks and entrepreneurial focus groups of the last couple of years?

Don't be surprised either if that John Fitzpatrick is really Seanie Fitz in disguise.

Brings back memories of Mary O'Rourke's visit there and the selling off of Eircom to predatory capital.
Newstalk just interviewed Obama's distant cousin from Offally. He is in Washington and was received at the White House yesterday and went for a few pints with Obama.
He is going back to the White House today to meet Mrs O.
Newstalk were saying it's a bit insulting that Kenny was bumped to Tuesday but Obama has time for the few pints (and photo op).

Enda Kenny was informed in advance that Denis O'Brien was going to be at this event.
He denied that he knew, to the Dail.
I suppose he will say he never reads his briefing notes.

Ah well, it's not like the Irish electorate punish their elected representatives for telling lies
I had no idea of who was going to be there. I pressed the bell. Obviously Mr OBrien was on that platform, he said. I am not in a position as Taoiseach to vet the lists of attendees of any particular function that I intend.
